Outreach Ministries

Then the king will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.” Matthew 25:34-36

Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion to the Homebound, Hospitals and Nursing Homes

Residents of our many nursing homes, parishioners who are home bound, those who are in hospital or hospice are visited by these remarkable ministers.

A ministry based solely on the desire to be a companion to one who needs a friend. This ministry provides a caring, human connection between isolated members of our community.  These ministers may choose to become Eucharistic ministers to the home bound as well, but it is not required.  This ministry calls for a compassionate, listening heart.
