Young people who have already received their First Communion are invited to be altar servers for parish and school Masses, funerals, and weddings. Sacristans

Sacristans

Sacristans prepare the sanctuary for the Mass by readying the wine, hosts, chalices and books prior to the celebration of the Mass.   The sacristans do an essential behind-the-scenes ministry for our parish.

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God in the context of the Mass.  Requirements include the ability to read clearly and carefully and you should be comfortable reading in front of a congregation.   Training will be provided.

Distribution to the Homebound

Distribution to the Homebound

These volunteers take the Holy Eucharist to parishioners who are ill and/or homebound.  They pray with those who are sick or homebound.  These Eucharistic Ministers are also mandated by the Archbishop upon completion of mandatory training and on the recommendation of the pastor.

Ushers

Each Saturday and Sunday we gather to celebrate the Lord’s Day.  Our “ministers of hospitality” are our ushers.
