Stewardship is following Christ and sharing the talents He has given us by demonstrating our service and faith in gratitude. Here at St. Bernadette Parish we have a large and dedicated group of volunteers who help to make our Masses so wonderful.

However, we can always use more help, particularly at the 4 pm Mass on Saturday and the 8 am Mass on Sunday.

Please consider joining our team as an alter server, Eucharistic minister, sacristan, usher, or lector. The blue St. Bernadette Parish handbook in the vestibule has a description of each of these ministries. Contact Karen Graves in the parish office for more information and to sign up for training which will be held in January 2012.

St. Bernadette Choir is selling Village Inn pie certificates for just $12.00 each!

They may be redeemed at Village Inn for a delicious pie of your choice, and all proceeds are used to help those in need in our parish.

Certificates are available from any choir or music ministry member or call the Parish Office.

Reflections on the Mass

The Eucharist and the Mass are the center of our Catholic lives. On Saturday, October 8, 2011, the Alter & Rosary Society will sponsor reflections on the Mass.

Fr. Goggins will be the speaker.

There will be coffee at 8:30 am in Doherty Hall with Mass at 9 am. followed by the discussion. A soup and salad luncheon will be served after the presentation.

Adopt a Student

If you would like to adopt a student and help that child attend St. Bernadette Catholic School, please call Fr. Goggins in the Parish Office.

The annual tuition is $4,200 per student.

Religious Education for Youth

St. Bernadette Parish offers religious education for youth on Sundays during the school year. Registration is every July and August.

Attention all St. Bernadette Men! The new semester of TMIY begins Thursday, September 15, 2011.

Meetings are held Thursday mornings in Doherty Hall from 5:30 – 7 am. No pre-requisites are required.

The men’s leadership program is transforming men, families and society as it presents the vision of man fully alive! Combining the teachings of the Church and wisdom of the saints with the best research from modern science in an interactive, multimedia format. That Man Is You! puts this vision within the grasp of every man.
